Year 12 - Fishing Conservation Policy Case Study (Essay)

The syllabus states:

Evaluate a case study of a conservation policy implemented to provide sustainable fish yields.

You are to produce an essay that outlines why conservation policies are needed in the world today (come up with a good title!).

Your essay needs to outline the various conservation policies that can be put in place, with a brief evaluation of each one (use the links below).

Finally, your essay must have a case study (with map) of a chosen conservation policy of your choice (use the links below or attempt to find your own material online by googling the various conservation policies, e.g. “catch share Iceland”). You must evaluate the effectiveness of this policy and highlight the positive and negative aspects of the policy.

Word limit 700-1000 words (please state word count on your essay).

Due next Day 2.
